UAP Quezon City Chapter Board and Committees in serious discussion

The UAPQC Chapter Board of Officers set the 2nd official board meeting on the 13th day of August 2015, 7:00 in the evening, at Victorino’s, Scout Rallos St., corner 11th Jamboree St., Diliman, Quezon City. Items discussed focused on the activities for the months of August and September. 

The board first discussed the first GMM for the fiscal year themed “Chapter Team Building | Leadership” in finer details. VP-Operations Carla Epino, as program manager, presented the program with Ar. Mike Ang as the guest team building facilitator. The attendees shall be divided into five color coded teams for the two hour activity. 

Next discussed is the annual chapter project known as ConFab. To be led by VP-Programs Leiron de Guzman and Director Norvin Gomez, ConFab had been moved to September 12 with the venue yet to be finalized being the Philippine Heart Center or the newly renovated PRC Multipurpose Hall. 

The month of September has been discussed as a month of series of movements of schedules due to conflicting schedules of all entities involved in the activities. The only unmoved date is of the September GMM with partial details has been initially discussed. 

Other matters discussed includes the initial report on NAW, wreath laying on August 19 QC day, Lakbay Series both local and international, advance Halloween Party concepts, amnesty on annual dues, SteelTech Playball invitational, report on the templates for certificates, UAPSA-CCP Affiliation, and the Area Assembly on October. Board resolutions are to be prepared by VP-Programs Leiron de Guzman for signature on the next board meeting. 

Meeting was adjourned at 10:30pm.
